Greenhouse Installation

We’ve got a big one-day project coming up and sure could use some help! We are seeking help from any, and all, to put the plastic membranes(2) on the Edible Brattleboro greenhouse at Moonscape Farm on Upper Dummerston Road, Sunday morning, 7-11 am.

This is a fairly complicated task that needs at least 8 people and preferably 12 or more.  It is also very dependent on low wind speed – hence the early hours.

We will have a fire pit going, hot mulled cider, and fruit turnovers (is this incentive enough?!😁)

The current forecast is:

• Mostly sunny;
• 37° to 57°, (Bundle up)
• Wind Speed: 1-3 MPH
• There will likely be heavy dew on the ground.

Obviously, this could all change.

We don’t expect most folks to do the whole 4 hours but we need people early on. We have rubber garden gloves that will be good for holding the plastic but you may want a glove liner.

This is a once in a lifetime chance to do something interesting and satisfying that can only be done by a community.  You will be able to add your name to the Edible Brattleboro Greenhouse saga, and we do mean saga!
